Our Wedding

It all started back in 2009, when Jason brought home a bouncy boxer puppy from Megen’s mom, Delores. Megen was in college and her and Jason had mutual friends and would hang out occasionally. At the time, life had them on very different paths, but it created an unforgettable first connection. Over the years, Jason consistently reached out to Megen to check on her well-being and catch up with life. He always said that she held a special place in his heart. Fast forward to the future, when life aligned just right. A simple reconnection turned into long conversations, laughter, and the kind of love that feels both brand new and like it’s been waiting all along. From a puppy in 2009 to a wedding in 2025, their story proves that timing is everything—and that some connections are meant to circle back at just the right moment. They both believe that God's timing and plans unfold perfectly.

Our Story

On a cold, snowy morning, December 30th, Jason was tucked away in the barn, up on the second floor, quietly watching through the window as he was "hunting". He knew Megen would soon come outside to check the eggs in the chicken coop.﻿As Megen opened the coop, she noticed something unusual: a small wooden box nestled among the straw. It read, "Will you marry me?" She blinked, then looked again, making sure it wasn't just a strangely shaped brown egg. Heart pounding, she looked up and called out, “You better get down here!” Jason climbed down, heart full of hope. He asked. She said yes. And their love story simple, sweet, and snow-kissed was just beginning.

Britt became part of my life when she was just 3 years old. My dad fell madly in love with her mom, they got married, and just like that, Britt and I became instant family. But over the years, she’s become so much more than just a stepsister—she’s my sister in every way that matters. I’m truly thankful that God brought our families together.

Through every phase of life, she’s been right there. Life simply wouldn't be as fun, meaningful, or interesting without her. I'm so grateful for a friendship that has stood the test of time.

Jon is my youngest brother, and we have so much in common. We work together, fish together, and party together—and somehow still don’t get sick of each other. I’m really thankful for him and the bond we share. It means a lot to have him in my life.

Family means everything to me, and having the absolute best cousin anyone could ask for makes me feel like the lucky one. Growing up together on our grandparents’ farm and sharing all those unforgettable memories is something I’ll always hold close to my heart. Our&nbsp;wood blood&nbsp;runs deep—forever.

Marrying Megen means I get to officially call Brandon my brother-in-law, and I couldn’t be luckier to welcome him into the family. He’s fun, always up for an adventure, and brings great energy wherever he goes. I’m really glad to have him by my side on such an important day.

Branndon Nesspor - Groomsmen

I’ve known Randi for almost her entire life. We grew up together, spending countless hours on my grandfather’s farm, where our shared love of animals and hard work really took root. She was always my fellow cowgirl , ready for any adventure and always finding a way to make work fun. As we got older and life took us down different paths, we never lost touch. And, of course, it helps that our mothers are best friends, which has always kept our families and our friendship close.

Randi Shimp-Munns - Bridesmaid 

Duke is 5 years old full of energy and always ready to “talk” to you. He’s never shy about letting you know what’s on his mind! Duchess, on the other hand, is 9 years old and a little more laid-back. She loves giving kisses and taking naps. Both of them absolutely adore being rubbed and will happily wiggle their butts for attention.

My beautiful and intelligent goddaughter, is one of the greatest blessings in my life. She has such a kind soul, and I am truly honored to have her in my wedding. I have known her since the day she was born and have watched her grow into a lovely young lady. Our time together is always so special and I can’t wait to add my wedding day to our memories together.
